IT IS TIME!

For my annual summer contest. I so enjoyed running the one last year, so this year I'm doing another one. Preeetty much, the proceedure is gonna be the same as last year, except with a new theme. So without further ado, let us begin...

PRIZES:

1st- Full marker picture(s) of up to two characters of their choice (seperate or in same picture)
2nd- Full marker picture of one character
3rd- Quick marker picture of one character

(I may also award honorable mentions prizes at will according to number/quality of entrants and how much energy I have.)

RULES:

So, I'm sure you're all dying to know what this year's theme is. like last year, it's character-based and fairly open ended. This yeqar, though, our theme is: ACTIVISM! What do I mean by activism? Anything involving a character(s) standing up for what they belive in.

-Draw any character(s) from my plotline standing up in some way for womething they believe in (list of characters/possibilities below- ask if you have an alternate idea).

-...you are more than welcome to toss in your own characters as cameos, too, if they fit into the picture!

-Activism is more than just standing around with picket signs (though some of my characters do that, too)- get as creative and innovative as you can!

-As a general rule, try and keep it pg-13 or below... if you're not sure if an idea is acceptable or not, you're more than welcome to ask me!

-You can use any media (2D, 3D, traditional, digital, animated, comics, stories, poetry) you want- I love creativity of all kinds!

-You may have as many entries as you want- I can only award one prize per person, but I won't pretend extra entries won't give you brownie points.

-You will be judged according to effort, creativity, and trueness to the actual characters personalities and situations. (If you need/want further info than the basic refs I list below, ASK! I'm happy to tell you more.)

I'll include a link to basic reference info for each character. I can only provide basic informtion or else I'd spend about three eternities typing all this. If you need further info on any of these characters or their relationships with eachother, PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE TO ASK ME! Research up on the character(s) you want to draw by lurking my gallery or asking me.

*NOTE: "My plotline" includes not only /my/ characters, but also those belonging to my mom, my brother (Froggy), and Skatey, since all of our characters interconnect. (Also, note that if you ARE my mom, Froggy, or Skatey, you have to include at least one character that isn't YOURS in your entry. x3)
**I'm seperating the lists into the major sections of plot that can NOT interact due to being in different times or places. For instance, a Renaissance character can't be in modern times, nor can (with the exception of Raoul, who I will list under both) a modern character be in Renaissance times. Also, my three lonely human characters are in an entirely seperate plot of their own and can't be drawn with anybody else. Make sense?
