Ruki-Ken Scooty

I'll have you people know that I had a hard time catagorizing this, because it's not only half digital and half traditional, but it's also fanart of two different things at once! DX I decided to put it under traditional art because the digital background took me maybe an hour to draw, while Scooty, who took me, oh, 7 or 8 hours to draw, I'm estimating, was done traditionally. Maaaan, that was a tedious picture. My perfectinism paid off, though... I think this is one of my best pictures yet! Certainly one of my most time consuming!
Yeah, this be Scooty, my shapeshifter on Neopets who is currently a ruki, dressed up as Kenshin from Rurouni Kenshin for cosplay week in the BC (the week beginning June 9th). I colored him entirely with Prismacolor colored pencils, both regular and Verithin kinds, and I made the background entirely on Photoshop. And then I put the two together... all in all, I think the whole picture, drawing, coloring, making the background, and combining Scooty with the background took a little less than 10 hours over the last 3 days. Finally finished, though! O.O
