Ahuuur, Cat Stevens lyrics. 83
At long last, my entry to  's contest! This contest right here: [link]About friendship! This took me the better part of the last two days. I learned a number of things in the process-- One was that it's hard to mimic people's styles, another was that it's a bad idea to use three different wet media on paper that describes itself as, "ideal for any dry media." So, here's what's going on. From left to right we have:  in 's style in 's styleME in  's styleand, you guessed it... in my style! 8DWe're all drawing eachother! So I drew each of us in the style of the one drawing us. Along with the corrosponding chunk of background. So basically, uh... if I made your style look atrocious in this, it's not because your style fails... it's because i fail at your style. XD Despite a lot (a LOT) of misadventures, I really had fun drawing this! 8D (Download for a slightly bigger view) |

I'm glad it makes you so happy. <3 I had ridiculous amounts of fun (and fun amounts of ridiculousness) drawing this~
I was running low on 9x12" Bristol board... so I used 9x12" drawing paper instead. Which is was smoother and way thinner and really doesn't enjoy wet mediums at all. (What I really don't understand is that somehow bristol's idea of 9 inches is about half an inch longer than this drawing paper's idea of 9 inches. Which I didn't even realize until i went to scan it. How strange.)

(I actually went through this idea with drawing in anothers style and fnjkrngkrgk3r :'D)
I saw this and looked at Nat and was like "That looks like a meggie face and eyes!" And then looked at me and was like "Woah! look at the curls and swirls like natalie" And then I was like "Wait! I get it!" and read the description.
My goodness this is fabulous and such an awesome concept ;o;

That tree was fun~ If a bit confusing. In fact, this whole thing was rather fun if a bit confusing.

The background was the hardest part. And the fact that the paper didn't appreciate markers/watercolors/watercolor pencils made it even harder! But I do like the end effect it created. 83 (It was so hard to blend the grass styles together! D8)

By the way, for trivia's sake: Your style was the hardest of all of these to draw in! You have SUCH a different way of shading than me. XD (I also had to use colored pencils with harder lead for most of the part that's in your style, so I would resist the temptation to make it a solid block of wax like i usually do with colored pencil art. x3)
